The Do's and Don't Do's!

To ensure a pleasant stay for all please take note of the following.

  • Respect our main road (please keep speed, dust, and volume to a minimum when approaching or  leaving our property).
  • Speed limit 5 kph (walking pace) within the property & campgrounds.
  • Gates are to remain shut when not in use.
  • Camping is only permitted inside the campground unless booked with the cabin (refer to Yalbaroo Scenic Rim Retreat).
  • No camping on the oval or around the communal fire area.
  • Vehicles are to always remain on the roads when outside of the campground (please stay off the grass).
  • Give Way to oncoming vehicles where sign indicates such.
  • No soaps, hair, bath or washing up products to be used in the creek.
  • BBQ is to be cleaned after use and fire extinguished.
  • Drones, flares, fireworks, laser lights and firearms strictly prohibited.
  • No chainsaws.
  • Respect 'Privacy' signs (these are in place for our cabin guests, neighbours and family).
  • Perimeter fences are not to be crossed at any time.
  • Campfires may be subject to fire bans and only burn in drums provided. Please don't burn rubbish in pits and please extinguish before bed.
  • Creek side communal fire is only to be lit by 100 Campfires Management.
  • Generators between 8 am and 10 am and 5 pm and 7 pm only.
  • Campers are not permitted in cabin yard (marked out on our site map) unless camping is part of the cabin booking.
  • Exploring and enjoying the property outside of our camping area including the creek and dams is encouraged but shared with a small herd of cattle (We love our cattle and the calves are indeed cute, but they are not raised as pets. For your safety it is strongly advised to avoid them. They will move on quickly, stay calm and quiet - do not chase them or attempt to pat them, wait until they go before continuing to play/explore, or return to camp until they have moved on). Some do love a pat/scratch and some hay but enjoy these moments from the other side of a fence.
  • Please keep our rocks in the creek not on our grass.
  • Creek is not to be crossed if depth exceeds .3m.
  • Quiet from 10 pm – 7am. All music and voices low please.
  • Dogs must be always kept on a leash and must not encroach or disrupt wildlife or farm animals. Dogs are your responsibility, please clean up after them.
  • No camping beneath tree canopies (beware of falling branches).
  • Children to be supervised at all times.
  • We are in the Aussie bush so we recommend shoes, ‘slip slop slap’, inspect spray and be mindful of moving sticks (First Aid and Snake Bite kits are available at the main house and our contact numbers are inside the toilet door or on our website / Facebook page).
  • Upon arrival please feel free to pat our animals through the fence (no entry into their yards is permitted)
  • All native flora and fauna are protected under the Environmental Protection Act.
  • All water provided is non-potable. Please bring drinking water.
  • Do not flush foreign objects down toilets.
  • Please report any problems to 100 Campfires Management day or night (contact numbers can be found on our website or inside the toilet door).
  • Drink driving, offensive behaviour/language or vandalism will not be tolerated (offenders will be asked to leave)

100 CAMPFIRES MANAGEMENT TAKES NO RESPONSIBILITY FOR PERSONAL INJURY, LOSS OF PERSONAL PROPERTY OR EQUIPMENT DAMAGE.

Biosecurity.

You are visiting a farm and normal biosecurity rules apply.

  • In light of the discovery of Foot and Mouth disease in Indonesia it is particularly important you notify us before you arrive, if you have recently traveled to any part of Indonesia.
  • If you have traveled outside Australia in the last 30 days, visited any farms, abattoirs or livestock premises in Australia during the past 7 days or your vehicle has been in contact with livestock or manure in the past 7 days you need to let us know.
